Vehicles Seized by Traffic Police at Palvancha Excise Station to Be Auctioned on 10th Sep

Sep 09 2025

To ensure public safety and maintain orderly transportation, traffic rules must be strictly followed. Violators are subject not only to fines but may also lose their vehicles. For example, if a vehicle is parked in a non-parking zone, the police may tow it to the station. The vehicle can be returned only after the owner pays the fine and provides proper documentation.

Some vehicle owners neglect to pay fines or fail to produce valid documents. When vehicles remain unclaimed at the station for months or even years, the police organize a public auction through official channels. Interested parties can participate by paying a required deposit and may acquire vehicles at prices lower than the market rate.

Details of the Auction in Bhadradri Kothagudem District:

The Excise Department Deputy Commissioner, G. Janardhan Reddy, announced that six vehicles seized at the Palvancha Excise Station will be auctioned.
The auction is scheduled for September 10 at 11:00 AM.

Vehicles to Be Auctioned:

  •  Bajaj Auto (autorickshaw)
  •  Hero Honda Passion Pro
  •  Honda Shine CB 125
  •  Hero Splendor Plus
  •  KTM bike
  •  HF Deluxe

Officials stated that all these vehicles are in good condition.

Participation Guidelines:

  •  Participants must pay a 25% earnest money deposit (EMD) to receive a receipt, which acts as a security deposit.
  •  If a participant does not win any bid, the deposit is refunded.
  •  The auction will be held publicly on Wednesday (i.e., September 10).
  •  Interested individuals are advised to visit the Excise Inspector’s office during working hours for more details.

This auction opens up an opportunity for buyers to acquire “5 two-wheelers and 1 three-wheelers at lower prices,” while also ensuring that traffic rules are followed and unclaimed vehicles are managed properly .
